Containers

2014

acrylic, glass fibre, pigment
22x9x9cm

The main part of the enormous Freight project, these sculptures provided the desired colour and feel of the series. Where the rest of the Freight-sculptures use gentle and subtle; beige, grey and white colour-schemes, these little containers breath colour and create an underlying chemistry in the series.

The sides of these containers have a lot of different signatures and were created with 22 different base models, each with their own moulds, The result was 332 unique sculptures.

The containers were intended to work autonomously but also in large clusters, allowing the versatile ability to change the scale of the presentation, depending on the size of the area.
