House- and techno music play an important role in the process of creation. It's an accelerator. Pumping beats are the right companion for adding energy to the sculptures.
During the years, The Wall of Sound became a companion in the fringe of the art practice. Only built with materials rejected by society those separate parts became a larger whole as part of an impressive sound-system. Built and fine-tuned piece per piece, speaker per speaker, amplifier per amplifier, it took years to mature and would thrive the practice itself towards a new field of exploration: sound design.
Being so influential, it was a matter of time that creating sound and music itself would become an important part of creating. Exhisting only out of own-designed synthesis and samples, the electronic music is intended to be a soundtrack for my sculptures.
